Finally, is the word I would use to describe how I was feeling the weeks before. Nothing else mattered because it was time to serve the Lord, meet my team, and travel the world. A huge preparation before the race includes packing, something I had been dreading and have received many questions on. I decided I would share what I was bringing to help everyone following me see a little bit more into what is expected of us in the race.

We will start with my baggage. For my big pack I bought an Osprey 65L pack, when I was looking for a pack my main focus was comfort and  convenience for packing. My daypack is an 18L Backpack from REI. My daypack is very compact but holds a whole lot of stuff. I also have a small purse that is a Kavu Sidewinder Crossbody bag. So far I love all of my bags. They are great quality and allow me to pack everything I need in a convenient way.
