This blog is a quick catch up on what my life has looked like for the last 3 months. But first, let me take a quick step back and explain why I have been absent from my blog throughout my race. I found myself putting too much pressure on bringing kingdom back home and not fighting for  kingdom where I was. Desiring to live in the present, I gave the time I was thinking about blog posts over to filling up myself and others with Jesus so I could instead be living and breathing out who Jesus is.

Now, with one month left, I need to start stepping back into “real life” and sharing the stories and groundbreaking ways God has moved in me, my squad, and the countries of Panama and Costa Rica.

So, to catch you up, here’s a list of the big things that have happened in the last three months:

1. We moved to Panama! On April 5th, our squad touched down in the new country we have gotten the privilege to call home. We have partnered with YWAM ministries while we have been here and have lived on several different bases throughout Panama.

2. We changed teams!  I am now a part of a team of 5 amazing women (Callie, Piper, Daisy, Hadley, and Hannah). Right before we left Costa Rica, we switch things up so we could get to know and pour into other people on our squad.

3.When we first arrived in Panama, my team and I lived for 4 weeks on a base in Boquete. We served several sustainable ministries and lived with around 50 YWAMers.

4. I lost my phone! I will not have a phone for the part of the race. Feel free to contact me through email ( [email protected]

5. On May 5th, my team left for our final ministry hosted in Bocas Del Toro, which is about an hour water taxi ride off the mainland of Panama. We are using this time to serve the YWAM base here.

Life is crazy cool and the Lord continues to provide new and unique ministry opportunities every step of the way. But a big part of these next 4 weeks for me will be processing what home looks like. As part of that, I will be updating my blog more frequently; bringing to the surface stories, devotionals, and lessons I have experienced and learned throughout the race. I am excited to invite each and every one of you into what life has looked like on the mission field.
